Adding odbc driver windows 7

You need to use Windows 7 bit subsystem. In particular, you need to use the ODBC control panel here: c:\windows\sysWOW64\odbcadexe At least in my case, that version (the 32 bit version) of the cpl did contain the Access ( in my case) ODBC driver. The 64 bit DLLs etc are in c:\windows\system and it is working in windows XP machine even that machine without ms office application but not wroking in windows 7. Have you tested what Stefan suggested (odbcadexe)? If you see Access ODBC drivers there and you can use them for setting up a test DSN, it will also work from your application.
